HOW TO ENHANCE YOUR PICS WITH JUST A FEW CLICKS!

How to enhance your photos with just a few clicks

Picture this: You’ve snapped the perfect picture and when you go to post it online you realize it’s missing a little je ne sais quoi.

As a proud Mom I love taking pictures of my boys. I also love apps that allow you easily enhance your photos.

Instagram has great editing features, but they’re quite limited and who are we kidding, it’s time to play with the big kids and step it up a notch. If only there was an app that could take your photos from good to GREAT! Well folks, I’m about to share one of my favourite apps with you. Drum roll please!

Well hello there, VSCO!

Don’t let the acronym scare you. VSCO stands for Visual Supply Company. It’s is a snazzy little camera, photo-editing and sharing app that will change the way you edit and enhance your photos. The features will blow your mind. From filters to advanced editing, once you go VSCO there’s no turning back. The edits are natural and gorgeous! Check out my Instagram account here and see for yourself!

Let’s keep things simple and focus on a few cool features that you can easily start using today. Sound good? Ok! Put on some comfy pants and let’s get started.

OPEN UP VSCO AND SELECT ‘LIBRARY’ ON THE LEFT SIDE PANEL.

SELECT THE ‘+’ ICON LOCATED ON THE TOP BAR.

This will take you to the camera roll on your phone.

Once you have selected your photo it will appear in the top left corner of your grid. Now you’re ready to start editing!

We have to click through a few screens to get to the editing tools but stick with me! Once you’ve done it a few times you’ll be able to do it with your eyes closed. Well, almost!

SELECT THE SYMBOL TO THE RIGHT OF THE ‘X’ ON THE BOTTOM BAR. IT RESEMBLES AN EQUALS SIGN.

This will take you to a toolbar similar to the one you see in Instagram, only better!
